Nine businesses registered with the state in October using a Weston billing address, among them a physician's office, an interior designer, a grocery retailer and a ship building and repair company, according to the Connecticut Business Registry.

Eight are limited liability companies, or LLCs. The ninth, Nancy Tenenbaum Films Inc., is a stock corporation formed in New York. The registry lists a billing address, which is not always where a business operates, and it does not say whether any has opened. Each line of work below is the one the business listed.

Common ground healthcare Professional Limited Liability Company lists a physician's office, and Clover and Brass LLC lists interior design. vortiq Limited Liability Company lists grocery retail. American Maritime Industrial Coalition LLC lists ship building and repair.

IT NET LLC lists computer systems design, and AssignALL.ai LLC lists software publishing. Nancy Tenenbaum Films Inc. lists work as an independent artist, writer or performer. Two more LLCs, Mercier Unbridled Acquisitions LLC and Vincent Eden Ventures LLC, gave an industry code with no description.
